Pink flowers in Amsterdam.
A lovely sunny day spent in Amsterdam earlier this fall, before the weather turned and with sweet pink flowers still blooming throughout the city. We ate breakfast at a cafe down the tiniest cobblestone alley, strolled over bridges and along countless canals, and rode bikes to see the Old Masters. There was a visit to the precious little Anne Frank's home, an afternoon stop at a sidewalk cafe for a Dutch pancake, a few lovely moments in a charming antique store, and even a glimpse or two into the elegant homes along the canals through golden-lit windows in the early evening.
And the whole time, pink blossoms, happily dotting each bridge and sidewalk, every way we turned.
