Just a few exterior photos of our visit to Linderhof Palace, Ludwig II's hunting lodge that surpasses even Versailles in its opulence (proof). It's a small palace, meant to be a home away from home, nestled in the mountains less than 100 kilometers south of Munich. We toured the inside, but photography was forbidden, and so clandestine iPhone were taken instead, only to be lost in the great iPhone Toilet Drowning of 2014. And so we are left only with photos of the petite palace's exterior and garden among the changing fall foliage, plus one or two of yours truly and mine, perfect memories of a happy fall day.
More lovely palace visits here.
