I loved this feature in Veranda from a few months ago. You know I love a good chateau, but California is where my heart is... So when I saw this French design in a California locale, I was in! <brunette hand raising emoji x3>
The antique elements throughout lend this home a classic elegance rarely found in this corner of the world, and combined with a neutral color scheme, the effect is a perfectly elevated California cool. Well, presque parfait (that's Google Translate for "nearly perfect)...personally, I'd throw in some color here and there to make it just a tad more lively, but otherwise this just does it for me!
More chateau prettiness...

As a decidedly indoor girl, it's hard to imagine enjoying my wedding on a cliff amidst wind and rain and dirt etc. Give me a chandelier over clouds and marble over rocks any day.... BUT. This Horseshoe Bend elopement has me singing a different tune. Such stunning simplicity--just the wind, the rocks, and that dress. Perfectly ethereal and grounded all at once, all captured by Seattle-based photographer Jordan Voth. Enjoy!

As a lover of all things floral, I'm pretty smitten with the Marlow Wedding line put out by wholesaler b.t.elements. They are so perfect for a romantic spring or early summer wedding! I especially love the hydrangea suite. Just like its real life counterpart, that single blush hydrangea bloom makes such a statement that sets a perfectly delicate and dreamy tone for the whole wedding. This company is a wholesaler, so look for a local stationery shop that carries their lines here. Enjoy the eye candy and happy mailing!

I am in love with this macrame trend, especially for a spring or summer wedding. Whether it's an arch perfectly framing the couple or more of a backdrop, it's a beautifully simple and subtle way to decorate a ceremony without distracting from the couple. Bonus for the trend-bucking bride: I spend hours coming through wedding photos and it's still rare that I spot a macrame backdrop, so chances are you won't see this at the 15 other weddings you attend this wedding season!

Absolutely in love with Jenny Rijke's beautiful ceramic pieces. There's something so soothing and natural about her work that makes me want to slow down just a bit and cozy up by a fire...with my favorite Mexican hot chocolate in hand, of course. I love the combination of her work's modern, yet organic aesthetic. Her indigo marbled pieces in particular are just divine...
All of Jenny's ceramic pieces are handmade in her home studio in rural Eastern Ontario, so each piece is its own unique piece of usable art. Her beautiful artistry can be purchased via her website and in her online shop. I suggest grabbing one of these indigo marbled mugs, or perhaps these sweet gold-rimmed bowls, perfect for a scoop of ice cream...

The Cabana Cafe at the Beverly Hills Hotel, always the loveliest place for poolside breakfast or lunch, and a feast for the eyes as well in the hotel's signature combination of pink and green. (Brides, this is an especially perfect spot for a bachelorette or wedding party brunch!) Ever a pleasure to have an excuse to visit this hotel by the Dorchester Collection and the first historic landmark of the city of Beverly Hills.
